Why is Japan bound and determined to whale? Why are they determined to extinct a species? They can get all the products that come from whales from other places--why do they INSIST as if it's some sort of God-given right or something?

I stopped using Fuji film a long time ago because of the use of whale oil. I've been against whaling since I've known about it. It doesn't make ANY sense at all, especially when they give those kinds of BS excuses for continuing it.
