I decided to dedicate a thread to fumes and smells. What is it that really bugs you? For me, I just used a bunch of drain cleaner on my pipes, and now, I am getting a huge headache from the smell that I can't seem to get out of my upstairs. I have the bathroom door closed!, my windows all open, and it is STILL bothering the hell out of me. ABout to head downstairs. See ya later.
But seriously, what fumes bother you the most?

Funny you should start this thread. I have a really bad headache right now--I'm about ready to lay down for a while because of it--from when I went to JoAnn Fabric and Pier 1 Imports earlier today--I don't know what's with all the scents in those places.
I don't like strong perfumes. I am allergic to glade plugins and cats.
I hate cigarettes. Absolutely hate them. I'm glad I have decent places I can perform music here in Washington state that are smoke free.

Have you been performing lately?

Not lately. I'm going to be getting back together with the band next week sometime, so that will change soon hopefully.

This headache is really kicking my ass. I took a tylenol-3 to take care of it, but it hasn't kicked in yet. Man I hate these.

Sorry to hear it man. But I am in the same boat. THat drain cleaner, man. I don't recommend using drain cleaner unless you are going to be out of the house for like 4-5 hours! The shit is not cool!

Cat urine. I can't stand it. Completely, 100 percent agreed. Also, I don't know if you are aware or not, but cat poop is known for carrying THE MOST common parasite known to man. www.cdc.gov/ncidod/EID/vol9no11/03-0143.htm

An awful realization about parks in the Puget Sound area that are in or near larger cities:
They're usually built somewhere that to work on the sewage would cost too much. You'll often find whiffs of sewage smell when you're walking through city parks--particularly in Tacoma.
If you don't use fabric softener/dryer-sheets OR scented clothing detergent, and you don't wear cologne or perfume, you may notice that when you smell sewage, the smell of fabric softener, detergent, and other scented products are actually MUCH stronger than the actual smell of sewage.
THAT'S how many scented products people use now! Enough to cover RAW SEWAGE!!!

I remember one time I was smoking a bowl with your brother at Stadium trails, we were by the cave, and he says to me, "I smell sewage". I said that I couldn't smell it at all, and he starts sniffing around like a rat, eventually ending at me. "It's you dude!", he says. "You're high fool.", I said, almost offended, and certain he was tripping. Then he starts sniffing around some more and he says, "It's your Sprite and Cheetos, not you. It's only when they mix that it smells like that, and that's why I thought it was you." Sure enough, when I put both the open bag and soda under my nose . . . absolute sewage smell! Anyway, unrelated, but funny.

Then there's that purpleish-pink incense you had that smells like a garbage dumpster when Squirt soda is near it. LOL
