news.google.com/nwshp?tab=wn&ncl=1123193790&hl=en&topic=eI think it's funny that the network is denying trying to go more left wing. What's the problem with that? I think Rosie is a really bad idea though. She makes really stupid statements and gives the word "liberal" bad connotations.

On OTL, I posted this same thread--and someone mentioned something.
I pretty much DO agree with a lot of Rosie's positions--but she words things so harshly that the republicans usually have a tissyfit and start piling on the ranks. It makes republicans go into rank mode instead of being able to talk about the discussion. After giving it some thought, I think this may be a good thing.

Sorry, I hate rosie. I think she gives homosexuals and liberals a terrible, terrible name. As a liberal (if you want to call me that), I definitely don't want to be represented by rosie. I can imagine, that as a homosexual, you wouldn't either. Her attacks on people are often not only harsh, but inaccurate. When she attacked Kelly for the comment about the hands of Clay Aiken, she was way off if you ask me. And her disputes with donald trump made me pretty much give up on radio, as it was the only thing they were talking about for weeks.

I hate her, and Donal Trump. They seemed like a couple of jackasses which were dominating the media with their dispute, when I had no interest in their dispute to begin with but was fully immersed in as someone who occasionally listens to talk radio and watches television. For the record, I almost completely gave up on radio. If I ever go back to it it will be to listen to Art Bell. But for me, bullshit like this is what made me decide that the radio wasn't for me.

My initial reaction is to wince, but I think I'm going to have to play it by ear with her.
