I worked, and will work again today. It will happen from time to time. When you start a forum, those first few weeks are critical, but after that it should be self-propelled.

That's true.
I've been dealing with some major depression issues the past few days--part of the bi-polar aspects--I get into this mode once or twice a year... it should pass in just a couple more days, hopefully....
When I'm in one of these modes, all I can see are negative things, and it becomes difficult to see anything positive, no matter how many great and wonderful positive things might be RIGHT in front of me.

been there a few times myself. At least you recognize that it's merely a tendency and not a character defect, and moreover that it will pass like it has before.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have been there ESPECIALLY the past couple of weeks. It is just a combination of everything really. Not meeting my own expectations, not meeting anyone elses expectations, struggling through school, trying to maintain a relationship, never getting enough sleep, struggling to pay the bills-- but also, the weather. It may be the weather that is putting you in a negative thought train. I think for me it really does play a big part. When it is dark all the time, some people start to think more dark thoughts-- I know I do. Seasonal effective disorder I think its called (I'd look it up but I am actually just taking a short break from homework.) Seasonal disorder just plays its dirty hand in any kind of depression, especially bi-polar (I think anyway.) But hang in there. I love having the opportunity to regularly converse with you and others on here, and consider this site to be a true success. While some message boards have more members, I'd say this board has a very dedicated community which is rare, and, I'd say special . I haven't been on lately just because I have been super busy with work (all weekend) but I promise I am not leaving the board behind and will continue to post on it, and be back in full force by as early as tomorrow night
