Yeah, I am sure we have a lot of trade embargos and such. I think its shitty that you still can't get cuban cigars legally in our country. Canada has them, and they really are the best (not just a cliche`). But NOOOOO, WE can't have them

And yet we give China most favored nation status shortly after the square incident.... A couple of points, the cars made in Russia could not meet out safety standards, so we probably never see them. It is more important that they side with the US on the world situation than what they do to their people. for instance Vietnam is a favored nation, but---- Vietnamese police have arrested six political activists, including four foreign citizens, in Ho Chi Minh City. The activists - two Vietnamese, two American, one French and one Thai - were reportedly arrested after attending pro-democracy discussions. Three of the six are members of a US-based anti-communist group. The Vietnamese government exerts strong control over media and political activity. It has not yet commented on the arrests. LINK
