The only thing I can say positive about the period is that men were allowed to wear more varied outfits than they can now. Right now, style for men is very limited.

Top right picture is cool. I'd sport that look. Although it's true that men's style today is limited, the last 10 years or so it has become generally more acceptable style wise to just do your own thing. I'm glad about that. And you know them guys in the lime suits are getting play no matter what. They look like they should be in a Bacardi commercial, no?

The top right one looks sort of like something the Napoleon Dynamite character would wear. The scariest/most-awful out of them is the bottom right, to me, and also the men's night-gown with his hand in the other guy's pocket. EDIT: Okay, so that was an optical illusion....

It's hard to say. Back then, strangely enough, there were lots of photos that looked homoerotic on accident--or on purpose.
