This looks like it's going to be my grandmother's last 24 hours, but that was 12 hours ago--so really it seems like this could be her last 12 hours. Inoperable cancer. We believe it's most likely lung cancer.
I have been helping take care of her for a while now, but now that she's coughing up blood every 5-10 minutes and she can't tell reality from dreamland, and she's showing all the signs of someone that's about to die of cancer, it's just seeming likely that her passing is just around the corner.
I want it to be quick--she has been so horridly miserable.

She still seems to be kicking. I was very surprised. I really hope she doesn't have to suffer for too much longer. She's in total agony.

Well, so far everything has went smoothly--the funeral-home-people/morticians came by and picked her up--there weren't any issues with that.
She should be cremated by the end of the week.

I am sorry that I didn't notice this thread until now man. Usually I just find threads by searching most recent, and somehow this one eluded me. Anyway, I am very sorry for what you are going through. I am glad that things are going smoothly, but sorry this had to happen
