Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. I'm going to be not doing very much--my brother and I are going to go hiking for a little bit at Blueberry Park in the early afternoon.

I wish I was going hiking today!! What a sweet deal. I am off to spend time with a friends family that did not want me to hang by myself on the Turkey Day. bleh, I think I would rather be home with my dogs.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!

The hike went really well, but I'm pretty sore today from yesterday, but I sure like doing things like that more than traditional get-togethers. I love being out in nature, even if it's just in a park that's not very developed in Tacoma.

Me too man, me too. I absolutely love being outdoors. My husband and I have spent most of our most favorite memories while in the mountains, camping, or on fishing trips. I am thinking about borrowing your idea, and making a Thanksgiving hike a new traditions as soon as Tony is home. I am a wee bit jealous you were able to do something so fun, and I had to sit around with tons of people I did not know, who were making me out to be the poor, lonely, left behind military wife. Urg. Hiking next year, absolutely.

I've needed to go camping for a while now--but during clear weather--hot or cold, but clear. I hate camping in the rain. Snow camping is handleable, but not the rain--unless it's one of those weird days/nights where it's really hot and rainy--I could handle that.
