Here's one: www.csmonitor.com/2007/1102/p14s02-almo.htmlI wish they'd stop putting out this kind of crap. People are tired of bouncy shiny computer animated characters that move and act extreme like Jimmy Neutron. It's gotten really old. Why is THAT the only thing they can do as far as making animated characters? Why do they always look the same? Computers can be used to make a lot more style animations than that. Dreamworks/pixar that whole thing---they need to reinvent themselves. It's not going to happen. Oh well. Okay, so maybe I'm ranting--but do any of you think those kind of movies are great? Sometimes they can save them with a big star doing the voice, like they tried with this one. It worked with Finding Nemo with Ellen--without her, that movie would have been utter crap. If I like Seinfeld's humor, maybe I'd like this. On the Seinfeld show I like all the characters EXCEPT Seinfeld. Blah blah blah....

Sorry.
What was good about it? Did Seinfeld steal the show?

Sorry. What was good about it? Did Seinfeld steal the show? No, I'd say his performance was only so-so. I think part of what made the seinfeld show so funny was a) That Larry David co-wrote it b) that the whole cast complimented each other really well. I do like Jerry however-- I saw him live in Las Vegas and thought he was hilarious. But, the Bee movie had a script that, in my opinion, didn't really compliment his sense of humor very well. Having said that, I did enjoy the movie. It wasn't groundbreaking, but it was fun. It is sometimes nice to experience a childish fantasy, if only to escape fromt he real world for 80 minutes Highlights were the SMALL, SHORT role of Chris Rock, and some really bizarre humor thrown in rarely, but occasoinally enough to make the whole experience more fun.

I'll consider renting it on DVD. I know that there are those movies that look bad in the trailers that end up being decent.
Last Action Hero, for example, was a great comedy, but it wasn't even advertised for the type of movie it was.

Well, I don't want to create a misunderstanding here-- Bee Movie is definitely NOT a great movie. It was just pleasant. And funny in some spots. Short, fun, and a little funny. But not anywhere close to great.
