news.google.com/nwshp?tab=wn&ncl=1122153504&hl=en&topic=eWill all the late night personality shows be re-runs, or will some of those personalities still try to do a show while unscripted? How about the other shows? Is the face of television in the U.S. going to be radically different after (if) this happens because of what it becomes during the strike? Are more servers going to get tied up/slowed down to a crawl because more people would be surfing the net? If this strike happens, it will certainly be interesting seeing what unfolds---or not, if everything is simply a rerun.

On hold: The New Adventures of Old Christine NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! PS, I am very curious to see if television recovers from this. It seems that media is ever volatile in the post-file-sharing era of technology. With Newspapers struggling to survive (and turning to the internet for help,) the music industry on the verge of collapse, and more people pirating movies today more than ever, I just wonder Can television survive? I think this could be a very bad thing for television if the people who would normally watch it turn to the internet as an alternative, and don't come back!

Actually, if THAT happens, it could be a good thing for television. They might actually have to start putting out shows that have a completely different premise, a completely different demographic.

As long as Lost isn't on hold, I don't care.

Or reruns of regular shows like we've been seeing.
