www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&q=2-tb-hard-drive&btnG=SearchI was hoping that the time would be soon when we might be seeing them, and I guess that time has arrived--they seem to be starting at around $650. I keep looking back to Amiga days when 250mb was a LOT of space. Then again, I can remember when a floppy disk actually held a lot... I'm so old...

Actually, I feel old too. And I am only 22 years old! The reason being, is because I remember my parent's first computer. They were one of the early people to buy one because they needed one for their business. Get this: 20 MB hard drive. Price of the computer? $3,000. Man, now adays you could get the sweetest computer ever for $3,000!!! But then again, I bet in 10 years that $3,000 computer will seem pretty crappy!
Anyway, I look forward to the days when I can go to Circuit City, get their cheapest computer, for like $450 without monitor, and that computer will be 5 terabytes, built in HD radio, 5.1 surround and HD video, 30 gb ram, and a 10 Ghz AMD processor. Those will be the days. My guess? Less than a decade from now. (Unless the world ends or something.)

4 terabyte according to some sources. I really hear you on the old thing. I'm 31 and remember all those times when memory seemed more, processing power seemed more . . . everything seemed more. Remember when it was a GOOD deal to get RAM for a buck a Meg?
